These terms apply when you use businessblankets.com or place an order with us. Please read them before ordering.

Who we are

Business Blankets is operated by Two Lighthouses Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, Suite 100N, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@businessblankets.com.

The product

Each Business Blanket is knitted to order in 100% organic cotton with the company name and colors you approve knitted into the fabric on both sides. Colors on screen can differ slightly from the yarn, and the preview on our site is an illustration of the design, not a photograph of the finished blanket. Sizes are approximate, as is normal for knitted textiles.

Ordering

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send your order confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if a name cannot be knitted well within the design, and if we do we refund you in full.

You are responsible for the name, the spelling and the colors you approve. We knit exactly what you approve. If you order several blankets and name the other companies after checkout, the same applies to each of them, and their three weeks begin the day we receive the names.

Company names and trademarks

By ordering a blanket carrying a company's name, you confirm that you are entitled to have that name made into a gift, whether it is your own company or a client you are giving it to. We knit names in our own lettering and do not reproduce logos. We may decline a name we believe we should not knit.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Delivery within the United States is included. Sales tax, where it applies, is added at checkout. [To confirm] Payment is taken when you order. If we have made an obvious pricing error, we contact you before going ahead and you may cancel for a full refund.

Quantity prices apply to the total number of blankets in one order, whatever the mix of companies. Orders of 25 or more are quoted by email. [To confirm]

Making and delivery

Allow about three weeks from order to delivery: about two weeks of knitting, then about a week in transit. Delivery is free and tracked anywhere in the United States. Details are in our shipping policy. If something outside our control delays your order, we tell you as soon as we can, and if the delay is substantial you may cancel for a full refund.

The blanket becomes your responsibility once it is delivered to the address you gave us, or to the address you gave us for your client.

Returns and refunds

Because every blanket is made for one company, we cannot accept returns for a change of mind, and once knitting has begun an order cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded. If a blanket is damaged, faulty or not what you approved, we remake it or refund you. Full details are in our refund policy.

Care

A care card comes with every blanket. We are not responsible for damage caused by not following it.

Our website

The design, photographs, wording and knit patterns on this site belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Company names shown as examples on our site are illustrations of what we can make and do not imply that those companies are customers or endorse us.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Otherwise, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses.

Your privacy

We use your details to make and deliver your order, as set out in our privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law of your state.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those on this page when you placed it.
